It is made up of 50 states that span from California in the west to New York in the east, with acres of farmland and large lakes (or entire oceans and countries) in between. Across the country, accents change, food becomes distinct to certain regions, and rivalries range from sports teams to whether or not tomatoes belong in clam chowder.
